I learned today on NPR why they called Black soldiers Buffalo Soldiers. It's because of the soldiers' dark skin and wooly hair. When I heard this, I knew they were describing a bison, not a buffalo. But I guess "Bison Soldiers" doesn't quite tickle the ear like "Buffalo Soldiers" does.
Anyway, I just completed my Zumba workout, and my heavy mound of hair feels like a damp, wool cap on my head. You know where I'm going with this, don't you? Humor me, please.
Hmm, too rough around the edges; it kinda scrapes the old eardrums. Or, since we're going for ear tickling, how about something a bit more French-sounding:
Oh, now that just flows like honey.
